After serving 37 years in education—many of those as a principal—Ray understands the weight of every decision and the importance of having the right guidance. A proud resident of the Bangs community, Ray and his wife of 47 years, Brenda, raised four children here. He served as Principal in the Bangs school system and has been blessed with eight beautiful grandchildren—with more on the way. Children will always hold a special place in the hearts of Ray and Brenda.
Since joining United Country – in 2017, Ray has built a loyal client base by being a trustworthy, hands-on agent who treats each client like family. With a Master’s in Administration, a Bachelor’s in Agricultural Education, and decades of experience working with families, Ray has developed the people skills and problem-solving abilities needed to match clients with the right home, land, or business property.
Beyond real estate, Ray runs a small ranch focused on show cattle—mainly Shorthorns—and hay production. Most of his hay is coastal, though he occasionally raises wheat or hay grazer. All four of his children showed animals at major Texas livestock shows, and Ray looks forward to helping his grandchildren carry on the tradition.
